The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) say the bodies of three prisoners abducted by Hamas on October 7 last year have been found.

IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari says Itzhak Gelerenter, Amit Buskila and Shani Louk have been found in Gaza.

Shani Louk is a German citizen, and a video circulated on social media in which members of Hamas abused her in a vehicle while she was lying, seemingly dead.

Earlier, her skull bone was found and the family said that she was most likely dead, because the doctor then explained to them that it was impossible for her to survive without that bone.

Louk, Buskila and Gelerenter attended a music festival in southern Israel last year, from where they were taken captive by Hamas.
