Soreca: EUFOR Presence in BiH Signals EU’s Strong Commitment to Stability and Security

The Head of the European Union Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Luigi Soreca, met today with the Commander of EUFOR, Romanian Major General Florian-Marian Barbu, to discuss the current political and security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Soreca stressed that the presence of EUFOR in BiH represents a clear and visible sign of the European Union’s commitment to the stability and security of the country.

He stressed that the role of EUFOR as a multinational force is essential to support the institutions of BiH in maintaining a secure environment.

The EU remains unequivocally committed to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina and to the EU perspective of the country as a single and united country, the EU Delegation to BiH announced on the X platform.
