The President of the Croatian Peasants’ Party (HSS) and member of the Presidency of the Croatian National Assembly (HNS) Mario Karamatic said he did not believe there would be changes to the BiH Election Law and that he forced Croatian political parties into the HNS.
Speaking about the upcoming session of the HNS, Mario Karamtic, a right-wing party member and former state parliamentarian, expressed his view on what the HNS should decide.
As the greatest sin of the Croatian people in BiH, he pointed out the election of officials who “do not do their job systematically.”
“Already this year we can create an alliance of Croatian municipalities and cities in BiH, then an alliance of counties. Once upon a time, Herceg Bosna was formed. So, we have something to do if we work. In political terms, today Croats can literally stop living in
“Let us impose Komšić and the new platform government of FBiH, we can block everything. There is no reason to wait for new re-votes,” he said.
Speaking to Podcast Bura, Karamatic said Croats had organized the HNS because, he said, “the daily overvoting of Croats and the imposition of a civil state modeled on Slobodan Milosevic”.
“The HNS will exist until the issue of changes to the Election Law is resolved. After that, other topics will be discussed, ie those matters for which Bosniaks and no one else are to blame,” he said. He spoke about why any model of changing the Election Law is unacceptable to Bosniak politics.
“Bosniak politics has created such an atmosphere that now I can’t explain to my electorate why they agreed to change. I don’t think anything will be done now. We within the HNS now have to decide some things and move in some direction,” he said.
He said that even in the public among Bosniaks, no one denies that Komsic was elected by Bosniak votes as a member of the Presidency of BiH from the ranks of the Croat people and that Croats are “surrounded” in the political sense and have nowhere to retreat. “According to international law, if one side is grossly deceived or damaged, one nation has the right to demand a return to the initial settings. These settings in our case are Herceg Bosna. Croatia can file such an appeal,” Karamatic said. He adds that the first step in that direction should be the decision of the Croatian Parliament (HNS) to launch such an appeal.
