Sorensen Supports Music Festival “Jelen Demofest”

jelen demofestThe EU Special Representative in B&H and Head of EU Delegation Peter Sorensen will support this year’s edition of Jelen Demofest, in capacity of Honorary sponsor of the festival.

Jelen Demofest is the biggest music festivals for demo bands in Western Balkans, announced in the statement of „Jelen Demofest“.

“There is no doubts that Jelen Demofest is one the biggest cultural events in Banja Luka and in B&H, which every year releases positive energy throughout region and Europe”, said Sorensen.

He recalls that Jelen Demofest is developed thanks to the enthusiasm and efforts of the people which believe in the potentials of their communities, as well as their city and country.

“EU congratulates them on it, and our support shows that we are always with those who promote tolerance, cooperation and hard work for the benefit of citizens”, emphasized Sorensen.

On the other hand, the festival organizers are extremely honored by the decision of the Special Representative of the EU to support Jelen Demofest for the second consecutive year, has been announced.

Jelen Demofest starts on Thursday, 17 July, at the fortress Kastel in Banja Luka.
