According to Sorensen’s statement, after the meeting with the Mayor of Visoko Amra Babić, the goal of today’s visit was to see the challenges faced by the municipal authorities and to provide support to municipal development.

“Municipality of Visoko is very well organized and has a quality management. Its position should be used for progress”, stated Sorensen, adding that he is positively surprised when it comes to informing the public on the operations of the municipality.

The Mayor of Visoko Amra Babić presented to guests the municipal potentials and economic capacities.

She stated that the emphasis will be placed on the importance of the municipality in terms of the medieval statehood of the B&H state.

She recalled that the municipality in 2013 used EU funds partially for de-mining.
