Mirjana Marinković-Lepić, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PFBiH), has resigned from that position.

“The reasons for my resignation are of a private, health nature. I am not able to devote myself to the full capacity of preparing and leading sessions and I do not want this to have a negative impact on the work of the House of Representatives,” explained Marinković-Lepić.

As she stated, she will remain a representative and a member of the Our Party Club.

“I remain a representative, I remain a member of the Club of Our Party, and thus of the majority. I expect the appointment of a new chairman as soon as possible. The Troika parties will make a decision on who will be nominated for that position. I believe that the chairman will be from Our Party,” said Marinković- Lepic.
