The B&H Special Representative to B&H will support the festival ‘Photograph of the Year 2013’, which is organized by the portal fotografija.ba for the last four years.
The program of the festival includes the announcement of 60 best photographs from the Western Balkans, and organizing educational seminars and workshops.
‘’We are very pleased that the EU recognizes the importance of our festival and we hope that cooperation will continue in the next years’’, said Haris Čalkić, Director of the festival.
‘’The EU is not just about politics, but to a large extent the arts and culture, because it lies at the heart of our common European identity. Due to this, I am extremely pleased that the EU is a part of the festival ‘Photograph of the Year B&H 2013’’, said Ambassador Peter Sorensen, Head of the EU Delegation and Special Representative of EU to B&H.
Winners of the festival will be announced at the official ceremony in Sarajevo on 24 January 2014.
