The Special Screenings programme of the 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival features six films exploring the quest for identity, connection, and hope through the power of art, music, and family bonds in times of crisis. ANTIGONE, THE DOCUTRAGEDY uses the restored recording of a small independent 1995 Los Angeles production of “Antigone,” starring Mira Furlan, as the foundation for an original cinematic journey. As three decades separate the performance from the present, the production reveals itself to be even more relevant and prophetic than when it was first staged.
BROTHER VERSES BROTHER, Ari Gold

Since 2022, Céline Sciamma has been shooting her own footage: documentary archives born from the desire of a useful camera. Fiction, for its part, has once again become a dream. TUTTI FRUTTI is a journey through all these fragments brought together by editing, and an exploration of the hope of a solo filmmaking practice. The film was made as part of the OÙ EN ÊTES-VOUS collection for the Centre Pompidou.
