Syrian Refugees to come to B&H klix.baThe existing route across Greece, Macedonia and Serbia towards Hungary is getting harder for the refugees from the Middle East so B&H, Croatia, and Slovenia are now preparing for the new route to cross their territory, reported the German political magazine Spiegel.

Spiegel wrote that the route of the refugees towards Germany and Austria might, instead of via Hungary, lead via B&H, Croatia, and Slovenia.

“How long will it last until the refugees change their route?”, the magazine asks and assesses that it will not take a long time, if one is to believe the governments of the countries of the Balkans.

“Already this autumn at least 10.000 refugees might come from Syria to B&H, maybe even more than 20.000 people”, Spiegel reported the statement of the Head of competent service in B&H Izet Nizam.

According to Nizam, since more than 100.000 refugees passed through Serbia since the beginning of the year, it is “expected that one part of them heads towards Bosnia”.

Spiegel indicated that, due to possible arrival of refugees, the meeting of the representatives of 13 cities with the representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs was held last Thursday in Slovenia, but also that the Government in Belgrade is getting ready in case leaving of the country across the Serbian-Hungarian border is limited.
