Sports Competition of Sarajevo High Schools “Gimnazijada 2015” has started

[wzslider autoplay=”true”]Sports competition of High Schools from Sarajevo “Gimnazijada 2015” started yesterday in Sarajevo with the parade of participants and the official opening ceremony.

Gimnazijada will be taking place from the 21st to 23rd of October, and 9 gymnasiums from Sarajevo and guests from Gorazde will be participating in it.

“Manifestation is celebrating healthy life, sports, enjoying the game and ‘fair play’. Around 500 high school students will be competing in 3 sports disciplines: basketball, volleyball and table tennis,” said Director of the First Gymnasium High School Jasmina Melkic.

Matches in basketball and volleyball will be played in CSC Skenderija, while table tennis players will be competing in the sports hall of the First Gymnasium.

Winner announcement is scheduled for the 23rd of October at 1 p.m. at the sports field of the First Gymnasium High School (Metalac).
