Spring Cleaning of Sarajevo officially began

Washing the streets in the central part of Sarajevo, the spring cleaning, which will last more than a month, has officially began. The next seven days are planned to be implemented in the municipalities of Center and Stari Grad.

In addition to cleaning and washing the streets, work will also be done in public areas and parks, river beds, removal of wild landfills, and removal of bulky waste.

This was emphasized by the Minister of Communal Economy and Infrastructure of Sarajevo Canton Nihada Glamoc and Director of the Cantonal Public Utility Company “Rad” Vera Arnautovic.

“The spring campaign for collecting bulky waste began on April 25th and will last until May 22nd. All citizens during that period can pick out bulky waste over the weekend so that utility workers can collect it and take it away during the workweek. local communities, “said Director Arnautovic.
