marketOn the 14th of July, the Tax Administration of FBiH sealed and closed about 250 unregistered shops and stands in the markets Kvadrant and Ciglane, which are operated by PUC “Trznice pijace” Ltd Sarajevo. These markets started to function again at full capacity in a short period of time.

Most of the users of closed shops and stands in the mentioned markets managed to successfully register and meet conditions for further uninterrupted operation with the support and assistance of PUC “Trznice pijace” Ltd. The Director of PUC “Trznice pijace” Ltd, Jasmin Terovic, visited markets Kvadrant and Ciglane where he talked with service users in markets, and emphasized that he supports the work and efforts of inspections, and that he expects the Directorate for Inspection Affairs of Canton Sarajevo to carry out control and sanction of the illegal sale around markets in the upcoming period, which represents a serious problem in the entire Canton Sarajevo for a long period of time.

At the same time, he emphasized that he hopes that the subject of further inspections of the Directorate for Inspection Affairs of Canton Sarajevo will be private markets (non-registered for the performance of market activities) that are located in close proximity of markets operated by PUC “Trznice pijace”, which would be fair to customers who regularly registered and started paying all statutory taxes.
