udruzenje studenata pravaA two-day state competition on trial simulation in the field of criminal law for the law Faculties in B&H as part of the project Moot Court started today in Sarajevo.

The trial simulation is organized by the Association of the Law Faculty in Sarajevo and will be held at the Court of B&H. The competition is public and all those who wish to attend the simulation are invited.

This is the second competition of this kind in the field of criminal law, criminal procedure law and the protection of basic human rights organized by the Association.

Participants of the competition are the best students and will represent their universities. The organizers believe that such contests in the future should be more, so that the public, as well as competitors to recognize the importance of young lawyers in B&H.

“The provisions of the Criminal Law as well as the European Convention on Human Rights will be analyzed by students at the competition. Students will have opportunities in front of the judges of B&H Court to show their knowledge acquired so far, as well as the rhetorical skills and abilities, and through a simulated trial in the courtroom to demonstrate the knowledge”, stated the President of the Organizing Board Mirsad Crnovršanin, who thanked the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo for the project support.
