The US State Department announced a few days ago after the National Assembly of Republika Srpska adopted the Law on Non-Applicability of Decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“This law violates the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and contradicts the Dayton Peace Agreement. Defiance of the Constitutional Court threatens not only the rule of law, but also the stability, security and prosperity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Combined with the anti-Dayton rhetoric of some leaders of Republika Srpska, the law represents dangerous escalation of secessionist threats,” said the State Department.
They reiterated that the USA supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
