State Investigation and Protection Agency arrested 22 Persons for issuing of False Diplomas

Officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) have launched an operational action this morning, codenamed “Pero”, and arrested 22 people so far.

The action is being conducted to issue false diplomas.

Raids of residential and commercial buildings, other premises and movable properties are ongoing at a total of 12 locations in the area of Bihac, Cazin, Sarajevo, Zenica, Visoko, Tuzla and East Sarajevo on suspicion that the suspects in this case have committed the offenses referred to in Article 340 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina organized crime, in relation to the offenses referred to in Article 383 abuse of office and authority, Article 380 receiving gifts and other forms of benefits and Article 272 money laundering.

“These activities are being carried out by orders of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Una-Sana Canton and the Cantonal Court of Bihac.
