Statistics: Road, Railway and Air Transport in BiH

In the road transport of goods in the third quarter of 2018, the number of kilometers covered by vehicles is are lower by 0,9 %, compared to the third quarter of the previous year, the volume of transported goods are lower by 4,9%, and the Achieved tonne – kilometers are increased by 2,4%.

According to BiH Agency for Statistics, in the road transport of passengers, the vehicle kilometers that are covered are lower by 2,0%, and the number of transported passengers are higher by 25,9% compared to the third quarter of the previous year. Achieved passenger kilometers are increased by 0,8% compared to the same quarter of the previous year.

In the third quarter of 2018 the number of total kilometers covered in urban-suburban transport is increased by 6,0% compared to the same quarter of the previous year, while the number of passengers transported was slightly lower by 1,5%.

In the third quarter of the 2018, the volume of transported goods in the railway transport is increased by 2,0%, and the number of achieved tonne – kilometers is higher by 5,3% compared to the same quarter of the previous year.

In the third quarter of 2018 the number of transported passengers in the railway transport is increased by 12,3%, and the number of achieved passenger kilometers are increased by 25,1% compared to the same quarter of the previous year.

In the third quarter of 2018 the number of aircraft movements indicates an increased of 6,2% compared to the same quarter of the previous year. The number of transported passengers is higher by 6,3% compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
