Mayor of the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, Semir Efendic, and the Minister of Economy of Canton Sarajevo, Muharem Sabic, visited a reconstructed road in Rajlovacka Cesta Street in industrial zone Rajlovac with their associates and representatives of business entities, after which they attended the meeting with businessmen in the headquarters of the company Messer.

This is a very important road, which is used by more than 20 business entities that are employing several hundred workers, and it was in a poor condition for more than ten years. This part of Rajlovac road has a strategic importance for business zone Rajlovac, the largest in Canton Sarajevo, and connecting with business zones of Telalovo polje and Bacici.

Minister Sabic noted the importance of this project for the industrial zone Rajlovac. “We invested more than 600,000 BAM in the infrastructure of the industrial zone Rajlovac together with the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo. This year, we adopted the Program of allocation of 2.5 million BAM for infrastructure works in business zones in Canton Sarajevo. All economic parameters in CS are growing and that is only one of the reasons why we decided to invest directly in the real sector,” said Minister Sabic.

They are planning to connect this road with a large ring around the highway through Rajlovac field in the future period as well, with which the entire Rajlovac will get a high-quality traffic communication.
