Strategy for keeping Young People in BiH necessary

The Minister of Foreign Trade took part in the conference dedicated to the future of young people, which is held within the 21st Eurasian Economic Summit in Istanbul. At this conference, among others, participated the Patriarch Bartholomew I of Constantinople.

Minister talked about the position of young people in BiH, and he noted that the lack of institutional strategic support and the approach to the problems of youth is in continuity.

“The institutions of BiH at all levels should start putting their problems into focus with a comprehensive strategy for keeping young people in BiH, with which prospects for their employment would be open. This requires an increase in economic activity and the opening of new workplaces that cannot be expected without attracting new and important investments in BiH.

Minister especially noted that “twenty-two years since the Dayton Peace Agreement, BiH is still facing economic, social and political challenges that are mostly linked to the difficulty of our country to find a common ground for the political and economic development of the country.”

The two-day long gathering of the highest officials of the countries and the government of Turkey, the countries of the EU, the Western Balkans, the Middle East, the Caucasus, Central Asia and the Far East, as well as the leading businessmen from this region, was dedicated to some of the largest challenges, and they mainly refer to new technologies and policies on economic development. A member of the Presidency of BiH, Mladen Ivanic, and the Prime Minister of Turkey Binali Yildirim attended the Summit, which was organized by the “Marmara Group”.
