At the residence of the ambassador of the United Kingdom in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Julian Reilly, in Sarajevo, a meeting was held today between representatives of the British Council, Minister of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton Kenan Magoda and key actors from the creative and cultural industry of Sarajevo Canton.

The focus of the conversation was on deepening the friendly cooperation between the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the CS and the British Council, with the aim of improving and strengthening the creative and cultural sector in Sarajevo Canton, but also in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As a result of the constructive dialogue, it was agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation between the Sarajevo Canton Government and the British Council, which will further strengthen common ties in the field of culture and creativity and provide a solid foundation for future projects and initiatives.

In addition, the organization of a large conference called “Sarajevo Creative Summit” was announced, which will be held in December this year.

The meeting was also attended by the director of the British Council for the Western Balkans, Clare Sears, as well as representatives of important organizations from the cultural and creative industry of Sarajevo Canton.
