Strengthening Partnership and Cooperation

Today at the Army Hall in Sarajevo, COM EUFOR Major General Florin Marian Barbu met with Minister of Defence Zukan Helez, Deputy Minister for Policy and Plans Slaven Galić, and Deputy Minister for Resource Management Aleksandar Goganović.

The meeting also included the Armed Forces of BiH command team: Lieutenant General Gojko Knežević, Chief of the Joint Staff; Deputy Chief for Operations Major General Tomo Kolenda; and Deputy Chief for Resources Major General Mirsad Ahmić.

COM EUFOR highlighted the strong and ongoing cooperation with the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of BiH, expressing gratitude for their continuous support to EUFOR.

As a sign of high appreciation, Major General Barbu awarded each of them the COM EUFOR Plaque of Honor.
