The first Italian helicopters arrived at the Butmir base as part of the upcoming takeover of transport and air medical evacuation tasks from the Romanian crews of the EUFOR Aviation Unit.

In the coming days, the Italian and Romanian teams will begin joint training for the simplest and most professional handover of responsibilities.

This cooperation highlights EUFOR’s commitment to maintaining high operational readiness and ensuring uninterrupted continuity of contribution to its mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
