The 3.3-magnitude Richter earthquake was registered on Saturday evening, two hours after midnight in the Nevesinje area, the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center stated.
Ground tremors were recorded at about 1:50 pm, 75 kilometers from the capital Sarajevo with the epicenter seven kilometers northwest of Nevesinje.
Residents of the area reported that they had experienced “Shaking for a few seconds”, Avaz news portal reports.
The earthquake was also felt by the residents of Mostar.
