studentski_centarThe Student Center Mostar (SCM) is preparing for a big and significant investment. If everything goes according to plan, at the end of this year the construction of a third pavilion, sports all and pool is expected to start. The press office of SCM said that this investment would cost a bit more than 13 million BAM.

All three facilities will be built in accordance with the needs of this center, in order to increase accommodation capacity, as well as for the quality of the facilities that are necessary for an interesting student life.

The new investment would bring a third pavilion that would accommodate 200 students, a small sports hall (45×27, 1.000 spectators) and a pool (25×12), which will be able to receive 200 visitors. The overall size will be more than 9.000 m2.

In the pool hall there will be a sauna and fitness center, as well as a locker room, and it will be located on two floors with a flat roof. The sports hall will include a pizzeria with a terrace.

As for the pavilion, in addition to student accommodation, there will be place for professors, and 25 rooms are envisioned. Guest professors will be able to spend the night there, as well as assistants and athletes, said SCM.

It was also pointed out that Mostar needs the new hall, because in the city on the Neretva there are 58 indoor clubs.
