Student iz Mostara izradio web aplikaciju u svrhu promocije turizma u BiHAdnan Behrem, IT student at the University Džemal Bijedić in Mostar, developed a web app, i.e. an online map platform of Bosnia and Herzegovina with navigation system that makes it easier for tourists to find tourist destinations in B&H.

In terms of content, the BHMap online platform is oriented towards existing tourist, economic and other facilities in the country, providing detail information on the location, appearance, contact data as well as the ratings and comments by the visitors of locations on the fit-out of accommodation facilities, services and activities.

Behrem said that the idea arose in 2015, when he won the third place at the international competition of information technologies in Mostar with this project.

“In the beginning, this project was envisaged as a tourist map of Mostar. However, when I started implementing the idea, I realized it would be good to do this for all cities in B&H, which I eventually did,” Behrem said.

The web app was developed in a responsive design, which enables automatic adjustability to all devices. It is currently available for devices working on Android operation system, and it is also being prepared for IOS and Windows systems.
