Student from Travnik is among the best in the USA

Young student from Travnik, Ajla Karajko, who is a studying at the Columbia University in New York, is one of ten best students of the USA according to the results of the competition, organized by the magazine ‘Glamour’.

Although she studies in the USA, Ajla hasn’t forgotten her home, so she has organised many charity events to help the young, like the building of playground in the village of Goleš and fund raising for the education of ten girls, Dnevni Avaz writes.

This young student published a poetry book, and she was also the member of BiH junior skiing team and worked in the organisation for protection of human rights ‘Amnesty International’.

She is also the ambassador of the World’s largest youth organisation ‘One Young World’, and she just got the job in the UN.

Because of her qualities, Ajla entered the competition for the best student in the USA, and you can vote for her on-line on the web site of ‘Glamour’ magazine – http://www.glamour.com.
