The competition was held for students of secondary catering schools. They competed in the preparation of traditional Bosniak desserts, made from carved apples.

In addition to secondary school students from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), students from Orahovica in Croatia participated in the competition. The expert jury who made the final decision on the best team consisted of the representatives of the Association of Chefs of BiH, as well as a representative of the Chef Association of the city of Orahovica.

In the competition for preparation of desserts, the team of “Stjepan Ivsic” high school from Orahovica won. Second-ranked teams were Hadzici High School and Mixed Secondary School Tesanj, while the third place was won by the Secondary School “Dzemal Bijedic” from Gorazde and the Hasan Kikic high school from Gradacac.

After the competition, which was held in the Secondary School “Dzemal Bijedic” in Gorazde, a lecture will be held for the participants of the competition by a representative of the Association of Chefs of BiH.
