Students attending the Richmond Park International Secondary School in Tuzla won three gold and 12 silver medals on the competitions of The World Scholar’s Cup.

The competition was held in the Dutch cities of The Hague, Rotterdam and Amsterdam in the categories of essay, debates and quiz, taking from July 20 to 26.

Both teams have successfully entered the final round of the annual Yale University competition in the United States.

The World Scholar’s Cup traditionally brings together a large number of students, so it was this year too when it brought students from 50 countries.

“It is an extraordinary honor to represent our country of Bosnia and Herzegovina at this prestigious international competition,” said BiH representatives who were divided into two teams this year.

The first team consists of: Amina Nisic, Enisa Kalfic and Alem Tukic. The other team is composed of Lorena Zornic, Iris Tiric and Emina Nurkic. Both teams compete in seniors’ competition.

At the World Scholar’s Cup in Holland, the students traveled with the tutor Nedzad Konjic.
