studentiThe Canton Sarajevo government did not adopt a decision on the suspension of classes in Canton Sarajevo, and students are in school today. However, the school desks will be empty for students of the second and third gymnasium in Sarajevo.

The directors of the second and third gymnasiums told their students through websites that the classes would be held ‘’due to the new situation in the capital city of B&H’’. The second gymnasium brought this decision due to the location of the institution.

Students at other schools are going to class today. Faruk Bešlić, President of the Union of Secondary and Higher Education, Science and Culture in B&H, the Canton Sarajevo government did not adopt a decision to suspend classes, and all students are expected in class today.

‘’The government did not adopt a decision, and all directors have received instructions on how to behave in accordance with the new situation. The Union is for it that classes are held, and directors of schools have to assess the situation on the ground because it is not the same in all parts of the city. During the protests, four schools were threatened, and we think that it is better that students are in class because anyone who is not present can be found out and their parents will be notified’’, said Bešlić.
