Tuzla_International_AirportThe trend of increase in the number of passengers continues from month to month and so the Tuzla International Airport has recorded 23.7% more passengers in June this year than in the same month last year. They transported a total of 26,673 passengers, of which 26,167 in scheduled traffic.

Fantastic progress has been made in the field of cargo transportation so in comparison to 0 tons in June last year, this year was transported a total of 1,170 tons. Of course, the well-known business of meat transportation for Turkey is responsible for this.

It is interesting that the Sarajevo Airport recorded a decrease in the number of passengers by 23% in June compared to May, which is explained by the decrease of traveling during the month of Ramadan. The decrease was recorded at the Tuzla Airport as well, and the number of passengers in June (26,673) was lower than in May (27,326). The fall in passenger numbers was eased with the beginning of charter flights to Antalya so the reduction in the number of passengers can better be seen through the lower occupancy of Wizzair airplanes in June (84.5%) compared to May (90.33%).

With the announcement of the opening and early ticket sales for two new destinations for Berlin and Billund, the map of Wizzair’s destinations have become truly impressive.
