Successful Continuation of the Construction and Supervision of the Subsection Zenica north – Zenica south

buildingThe public enterprise Motorways of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 31 October announced an international call for submission of applications in the process of prequalification for the construction and supervision of the subsection Zenica north – Zenica south, subsection Klopče – Donja Gračanica, which will be open until end of December.

Director of the FBiH Motorways Ensad Karić said that the implementation of a new investment cycle for the construction of motorway on the Corridor 5-C continues, and noted that they have recently started construction of the first subsection on the section Zenica south – Zenica north, and that beginning of next year they will start with construction of the motorway section to Donja Gračanica.

The total length of the section Zenica north – Zenica south is ten kilometers, and the subsection Klopče – Donja Gračanica, according to the plans, will have four viaducts, two tunnels and one resting place.

This is a subsection that passes through a very unfavorable terrain, and the funds to build this section have been secured from the Fund for International Development.

The deadline for completion of the subsection Klopče – Donja Gračanica is 30 months.

In the coming period, the FBiH Motorways will announce an international call for submission of applications in the process of prequalification for the construction and supervision of construction of the section Počitelj – Bijača, subsection Počitelj – Međugorje, stated the public enterprise.
