Good news come from Kakanj. In yesterday’s campaign, people from Kakanj, BiH and all around the world have passed the test of humanity. The funds are collected and the little boy Evelin Alajbegovic can have a surgery. Announcement of the Municipality of Kakanj is written bellow in full form.
“Good people from Kakanj, BiH and abroad, we hereby inform you that, in only 48 hours, we have raised the funds necessary for the operation of the seven-year old boy Evelin Alajbegovic from Kakanj.
We owe big thanks to businessmen in Kakanj and other cities, to children in kindergartens and schools and other educational institutions, thanks to the citizens of Kakanj and citizens of other cities in BiH and other countries, thanks to the volunteers who collected the money in cold weather, thanks to the media who helped this urge for help to reach a large number of people, thanks to every good person.
To collect such a large amount of money in such a short period of time means to manifest a humanity that awakens special emotions because it restores hope, encourages and sends a strong message that there are still those progressive forces, those inseparable strings from heart to heart, which beautify the human race and goes ahead in defiance of today’s lifestyle and difficult life challenges and temptations.
Evelin Alajbegovic is diagnosed with a brain tumor. Only a few doctors in the world can operate Evelin. Clinics in Hanover, Berlin and Istanbul have accepted to operate this boy, and the operation costs 130,000 BAM including medical transportation.
Now when we have raised the money, let’s pray for our Evelin and his family, with optimism and confidence that his face will have a smile again. ”
