In the organization of the Permanent Mission of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the OSCE, the UN and other international organizations in Vienna, a meeting of the OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation was held today. This meeting concluded the successful realization of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Chairmanship of the OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation in the period from January to April 2023.
On behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Deputy Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slaven Galić, addressed the audience with an appropriate speech.
In his address, Deputy Galić emphasized that the Chairmanship of the OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation focused on several topics relevant to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Southeastern Europe, but also to the OSCE region as a whole.
The BiH Deputy Minister of Defense also pointed out that the Chairmanship of Bosnia and Herzegovina continued to emphasize the role of the OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation as a platform for discussions on security cooperation.
“We are ready and determined to support the future efforts of the OSCE in its military-political dimension. I hope that our Chairmanship of the OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation managed to show that the exchange of best practices and experiences is still relevant and that we remain convinced that the continuation of the invaluable dialogue in the OSCE simply has no alternative,” said Galić.
