The Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton has undertaken planned activities related to the security of the 28th Sarajevo Film Festival, and from the security aspect, it can state that this very demanding task has been successfully completed, the Administration stated.
In addition to the previous decision on the introduction of overtime work, a sufficient number of police officers in uniform and civilian clothes were engaged every day in connection with the security of this important eveng, while at the same time other activities related to the daily performance of regular work and tasks within the competence of the Police Administration were carried out smoothly, they pointed out from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the CS.
The CSMIA Police Administration expressed their gratitude for the cooperation with the organizers of the Sarajevo Film Festival, which was at a high level, as well as for all the citizens and visitors of Sarajevo Canton, especially in the inner city area, bearing in mind the activities of the police in diverting and stopping traffic according to the decisions of the competent authorities.
The Police Commissioner praised all the police officers who participated in the implementation of the Operational Plan of the Police Directorate, and with their commitment and dedication to work and tasks contributed to the successful completion of this event, emphasized the CSMIA.
