sunFederal Hydro Meteorological Institute of BiH (FHMZ BiH) noted that long-term forecast shows that, according to available materials, the summer of 2016 in BiH will be warmer in comparison to the average values.

As summer progresses, as announced from FHMZ, positive deviations of air temperature will be less pronounced. In the southwest region of BiH it is likely that August will be slightly warmer than usually by 1-2 °C, while in the extreme south of the country that period will be within the normal temperature values.

Moreover, although it is expected for this summer to be warmer in relation to the multi-year average, it does not mean that the occurrence of short colder period can be completely excluded.

Rainfall, as mentioned, will be unevenly distributed and mostly within or slightly below the average, whereby the local instability will be sometimes accompanied by thunders, normal for this time of the year, will be more common during the month of June. July and August will not be significantly different from the average in terms of rainfall.
