Sunday: Herzegovina will be inscribed in the Bicyclical Map of Europe

hercegovina_classicCycling club Mostar, the Association for bicycling promotion “Hercegovina Bicikl” and Bicyclical alliance of B&H, will organize the First International street bicycling race through Herzegovina. Race named “Hercegovina Classic 2014” will take place at Sunday, 18th May.

It is about the cycle race of 165 km in total which will pass through municipalities Široki Brijeg, Posušje, Grude, Ljubuški and Čapljinu, and through municipality Stolac.

The race will gather the professional bicyclists from B&H and neighboring countries and the wish of organizers is to become traditional and to enter in the UCI calendar of races.

“This race will be written as the first international street race in Herzegovina and this region will be inscribed on the street-bicyclical map of Europe”, emphasized the organizers who are thankful to all companies and institutions which recognized the importance of this event.

The ambassador of France in B&H, Roland Gilles, will also be present.
