Dita Ready for Sale krajina.ba

After three years,  workers at the Dita detergents factory in Tuzla have produced the first 25 tons of well-known brands that could be, by the end of yesterday, found on sale on the shelves in the Bingo supermarkets in the area of Tuzla.

As of today, the Dita products will be distributed to the area of Tuzla Canton, and subsequently throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“After three years of laborious struggle, we lived to see the day when we could  again produce and place our products on the market. We have shown that we are able and know how to work, and the customers will realize that our products have not lost their former luster”, said Dževad Mehmedović, the president of the Union of the Dita Detergent Factory.

A contingent of dishwashing detergent 3DE and  sanitation liquids from the plant of aggressive detergents was produced. If the steam turbine is started, said Mehmedović, the production at the plant of powder detergents could also begin soon.

”Regarding the steam turbine, we have asked the City of Tuzla for help. We have agreed with Bingo that our product range consists of ten well-known brands”, said Mehmedović, who expects the buyers to contribute to the increase in production capacities by buying the products.

46 workers are currently employed at Dita, and the repair of the installations that have not been operational since March 2013 is being carried out.

Tatjana Paunoski, the spokeswoman for Bingo, says that the company has provided a hundred tons of raw materials for the production of the detergent 3DE, and that in the next period they expect the delivery of the finished product.
