The coach of B&H football representation Safet Sušić announced the list of football players who are invited to prepare for the world championship in Brazil.
Sušić’s list contains 24 players who will travel to Brazil.
“I have decided for 24 players considering the fact that I do not know yet whether Mujdža will be ready. In each case, 24 players will travel to Brazil”, said Sušić, adding that he will make the decision about 23 players who will officially represent B&H in the World Championship on 3 June, when is the final deadline for it.
Sušić has decided for players who have brought previous qualifications for World Championship, and as is announced, he has not invited other football players who do not play in their clubs, such as Zahirović and Stevanović. Elvir Rahimić is not in the list either from the standard representatives. He will travel to Brazil as part of the expert team.
Sušić’s list is as follow:
goalkeepers: Asmir Begović, Jasmin Fejzić, Asmir Avdukić
defense: Emir Spahić, Toni Šunjić, Sead Kolašinac, Ognjen Vranješ, Ervin Zukanović, Ermin Bičakčić, Muhamed Bešić, Mensur Mujdža
midfielders: Miralem Pjanić, Izet Hajrović, Haris Medunjanin, Senad Lulić, Anel Hadžić, Tino Sušić, Sejad Salihović, Zvjezdan Misimović, Senijad Ibričić, Avdija Vršajević
attack: Edin Džeko, Vedad Ibišević, Edin Višća.
Preparations will start on 15 May by gathering at the hotel “Herzegovina” in Ilidža. Sušić expects all the players but the problem could be with the players who perform for Italy because the championship finishes on 18 May.
