Today, a hearing was held in the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo for the plea of guilty of Sava Marinković, Aleksandar Macan and Marko Trifković in the case of the murder of Ministry of Interior policemen of Sarajevo Canton in 2018.

The defendants are accused of firing at least 20 shots at police officers Adis Šehović and Davor Vujinović on October 26, 2018 in the Alipašino Polje settlement at 4:20 am, and after police officers found them stealing a vehicle in Geteova Street.

After four years of intensive and complex investigation, the Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton filed the indictment after more than 2,500 actions were taken to document and prove the accusations.

After that, the court confirmed the indictment in mid-December last year.

500 people were questioned in the case, and DNA, biological, ballistic and other expert examinations were carried out, and cooperation was achieved with INTERPOL and EUROPOL.

The three defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges in front of judge Melika Murtezić.

The guilty plea will be sent to the judicial panel, which should consider it, for which it has a deadline of two months, after which the date of the main trial will be announced.

Today’s hearing or plea was attended by a large number of members of the special police, Klix.ba reports.
