A public company Motorway of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has released a video showing the progress of works on Svilaj Bridge on the Sava River from the air and the part of A1 motorway between Sava and Odzak.

“All works on the section Svilaj – Odzak 10.7 km long have been completed. This section will gain real value only by building the Svilaj international bridge under the jurisdiction of the State Ministry of Transport and Communications and the border crossing Svilaj under the jurisdiction of the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH. The ssection is strategically important not only for the improvement of road infrastructure but also for regional cooperation and better communication with the EU,” was stated from FBiH Highway.

At the beginning of July, the FBiH Motorway said that around 80 percent of the works on Svilaj Bridge were completed, Klix.ba news portal reports.

The construction of Svilaj – Odzak costed 69.2 million euros with VAT, and the works were financed by the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the grant of WBIF and own resources of PP Highway FBiH.
