vijećnicarat The generations born after the war in B&H hear about those dreadful stories during the aggression in the period from 1992 to 1995 from their parents, grandparents, TV documentaries or photos made at the time – reports the news agency Patria.

Digging through some old archives, we found photos of some recognizable symbols which were completely ruined, burned or became shelters during the war.

One of them is the building of the public company “Elektroprivreda B&H” which was totally devastated and renewed after the war. Another one, just as much important is the City Hall which was officially reconstructed and reopened this year. The third symbol is the flower shop “Vjetrenjača” which is almost totally unrecognizable at the photo and today is one of the most beautiful flower shops in Sarajevo.
