Tarik Arnautovic was born 33 years ago in Kalibunar, Travnik, and he went to Denmark in 1994 where he is currently living. He decided to spend the holiday at his birthplace in Travnik by making a playground for his youngest neighbors.
Although he comes in Kalibunar near Travnik three times a year, this time Arnautovic decided to make a playground for his youngest neighbors that he designed himself, since he is dealing with graphic design for years now.
He decided to do this after seeing in BH media that positive ideas of young people experience understanding and support of the community.
Arnautovic needed just seven days for the realization of the project, and this project was supported by the competent service of the Municipality of Travnik.
Although children nowadays spend most of their time using smart phones, tablets, and computers, Arnautovic is not afraid that the playground will be empty.
“Children will always be children. Although they are playing mostly on tablets now, they will go out for at least couple of hours or their parents will be able to take them for a walk and play here. The daily support that I get from my neighbors tells enough about what this project is all about,” said Arnautovic.
Arnautovic is making the playground with his girlfriend and two other friends, and if the weather is good, the official opening is planned for Friday.
