Tax Inspectors imposed Fines in the Amount of 259,700 BAM

Inspectors of the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina conducted 239 quick inspections in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from January 27 to 31, and imposed fines totaling 259,700 BAM for the irregularities found.

Taxpayers engaged in hospitality, trade, gambling, baking and other service activities were inspected.

During the inspections, the inspectors found 407 registered workers and 29 unregistered workers. During the inspections, two taxpayers were discovered who did not have a permit to work from the competent authority, one taxpayer who did not have a fiscal device installed and 74 taxpayers who did not record their turnover using a fiscal device.

Numerous irregularities were identified during the inspections: hiring unregistered workers, working without a permit, lack of an installed fiscal device and failure to record turnover using a fiscal device.

18 facilities were sealed and 121 misdemeanor orders were issued with a total of 259,700 BAM in fines.

In the Sarajevo Canton, 61 inspections were carried out, in which 61 registered workers and 10 unregistered workers were found, one taxpayer who did not have a work permit from the competent authority and 10 taxpayers who did not record their turnover through the fiscal device. Due to the irregularities identified, six facilities were sealed and 25 misdemeanor orders were issued with a total of 51,500 BAM in fines.

In the Tuzla Canton, 28 inspections were carried out, in which 52 registered workers and two unregistered workers and eight taxpayers who did not record their turnover through the fiscal device were found. Due to the irregularities identified, two facilities were sealed and 13 misdemeanor orders were issued with a total of 27,500 BAM in fines.

In the Zenica-Doboj Canton, 60 controls were carried out, in which 128 registered workers were found, four unregistered workers, one taxpayer who did not have a work permit from the competent authority and one taxpayer who did not have a fiscal device installed, and 17 taxpayers who did not record turnover via the fiscal device. Due to the irregularities identified, three facilities were sealed and 19 misdemeanor orders were issued with a total fine of 26,800 BAM.

In the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, 40 controls were carried out, in which 78 registered workers were found, four unregistered workers, and 16 taxpayers who did not record turnover via the fiscal device. Due to the irregularities identified, three facilities were sealed and 24 misdemeanor orders were issued with a total fine of 60,700 BAM.

In the Central Bosnia Canton, 20 controls were carried out, in which 23 registered workers, six unregistered workers and 11 taxpayers were found who did not record their turnover via the fiscal device. Due to the irregularities identified, one facility was sealed and 19 misdemeanor orders were issued with a total fine of 53,400 BAM.

In the Una-Sana Canton, 20 controls were carried out, in which 48 registered workers, three unregistered workers and nine taxpayers were found who did not record their turnover via the fiscal device. Due to the irregularities identified, three facilities were sealed and 13 misdemeanor orders were issued with a total fine of 27,300 BAM.

In the West Herzegovina Canton, 10 controls were carried out, in which 17 registered workers and three taxpayers were found who did not record their turnover via the fiscal device. Due to the identified irregularities, eight misdemeanor orders were issued with a total fine of 12,500 BAM.

The activity of inspection supervision of taxpayers will continue in the coming period, announced the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
