SONY DSCThe BiH Minister of Communications and Transport Damir Hadžić received yesterday in Sarajevo the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to BiH Tomaš Szunyog, with whom he spoke about improving bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

They said that cooperation between BiH and the Czech Republic are on a good growth path and that there is mutual interest in improving cooperation in the transport sector. With this in mind, they agreed to sign an agreement on international road transport between BiH and the Czech Republic on the sidelines of the international transport forum in Leipzig in the next month.

Minister Hadžić said that there is an interest to strengthen economic cooperation by tying BiH and Czech companies in joint projects of production. There is a particularly strong interest of BiH companies to launch joint operation in the metal industry, as well as a joint appearance with Czech companies on the third market.

Ambassador Szunyog said that such an interest exists from the Czech side as well, and that everything has to be done in order to enable easier connection of businesspeople. He expressed satisfaction that companies from the Czech Republic are participating in the construction of the Corridor 5C highway.
