A team of experts in the fight against extremism, terrorism and hate speech, led by the Bavarian Chief Prosecutor, will provide training to BiH prosecutors on processing of genocide denial cases, announced the Office of the High Representative (OHR).

“Together with the OHR legal team, they met with the Chief Prosecutor of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milanko Kajganić,” the OHR stated on its Twitter.

High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina Christian Schmidt announced on Tuesday in Potočari at the commemoration of the 28th anniversary of the genocide against the Bosniaks that he would work to create a regulation related to the criminal record, and he also said that he has concrete measures for the perpetrators as well as for the victims of genocide.

On that occasion, the High Representative said that he had invited the Chief Prosecutor from Bavaria with his colleagues who are heads of the department, and added that they would work with the state chief prosecutor to support him, and to tell him from their own experience how and in what way to act.
