The President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic met with the President of the RS Milorad Dodik in the Presidency of Serbia.
“In accordance with the Law on Special Connections between the two Republics, while respecting the integrity of BiH, we discussed the further support that citizens of Serbia can provide to citizens of the RS. We agreed to provide our assistance to several municipalities in a total amount of 5 million EUR,” said President Vucic and noted that those municipalities are Prijedor, Gacko…
Milorad Dodik also asked for investment in the section of the road, but the President of Serbia noted that they will talk about it in about two months.
“I would also like to thank Dodik for his support to our integrity and sovereignty, and we also discussed the topic of Kosovo,” said Serbian President.
The President of the RS, Milorad Dodik, noted that he has some strong reasons and his personal feelings of gratitude for the assistance offered to the RS.
“We have another good news, our help to communal, healthcare and other types of assistance to the aforementioned municipalities. This is a completely new segment in our cooperation, since we had political support earlier, and this is now something concrete, primarily related to infrastructure. There was no selection, but we are preceding towards resolving some long-standing issues,” said Dodik and added:
“It should be noted that we feel very emotional about this question. When the independence of Kosovo was declared, we adopted a decision according to which that will lead to the independence of the RS. This issue has been returned to the process of making decision, and now it is very clear that this issue cannot be solved without the stand of Serbia,” said Dodik.
