Several classmates beat a 15-year-old girl at school in Berlin’s Wilhelmstadt, and as reported by the police, the attack was triggered by the victim’s necklace with the word “Allah” written on it.
The police statement states that at least five classmates attacked the girl while she was in the bathroom.
According to a report carried by the Berliner Zeitung, the attackers tore the necklace from the 15-year-old girl’s neck, and the girl was kicked several times.
The teacher who learned about the incident provided first aid to the injured girl. She was then transported to the hospital.
An investigation is underway that will show the circumstances of the attack.
