Tegeltija meets with EBRD Vice President on the sidelines of CEI Summit

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija talked today, on the sidelines of the Summit of Heads of Government of the Central European Initiative in Budva, with the EBRD Vice President Mark Bowman about the current economic situation in BiH and the region.

Tegeltija said that the previous year was marked by a difficult situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic and that all levels of government in BiH were committed to mitigating its consequences. In that context, Tegeltija emphasized the importance of continuing to implement measures that appropriately stimulate economic activities, including the implementation of energy and infrastructure projects.

The meeting also focused on the implementation of existing and launching new EBRD financial programs aimed at improving the economic environment, especially in the development of small and medium enterprises, energy sector and transport infrastructure, and exchanged views on the new EBRD strategy for BiH in the period 2022-2027, said the Council of Ministers of BiH.
