Zoran Tegeltija, the candidate for chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), said yesterday that Republika Srpska (RS) cannot impose its decisions on the institutions of BiH.
‘’It is clear to everyone that the conclusions of the National Assembly are binding on the National Assembly and the institutions of the RS. The RS and the RS National Assembly could never impose their conclusions or decisions on the institutions of BiH,’’ Tegeltija said yesterday in front of the Commission for the Preparation of the Election of Council of Ministers of BiH.
This is completely contrary to the views and messages coming from RS, which are being placed by the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, led by President Milorad Dodik, who is also Tegeltija’s party chief.
Tegeltija’s yesterday’s statement is primarily relevant in the context of explicit statements from the RS National Assembly and press conferences concerning the future of BiH, such as NATO integration and military neutrality.
Just a few days ago, Dodik said that RS military neutrality was undeniable and that RS was restored to the position of the deciding factor on ‘’these integrations, whatever they may be.’’
To recall, the Commission for the Preparation of the Election of the Council of Ministers of BiH at its yesterday’s session recommended that the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly should appoint Tegeltija as chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers, Klix.ba portal reports.
