The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been undertaking all activities to combat the spread of the coronavirus (“SARS-CoV-2”) since the very beginning of the pandemic, based on the recommendations and proposals of the health profession and in cooperation with the authorities of the entities of the Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH, and the Brčko District, with the aim of protecting and rescuing the citizens of BiH, it is stated in the response of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Zoran Tegeltija to the letter of the Prime Minister of the Sarajevo Canton Edin Forto.

Tegeltija pointed out that the Council of Ministers of BiH will continue to make all necessary decisions and measures, including measures related to the entry of foreign nationals into BiH, which is under the direct competence of the Council of Ministers, in accordance with the recommended measures of competent health institutions and with the consent of the RS and FBiH entity authorities, as well as the Brčko District.

“Also, we use this opportunity to appeal to all citizens of BiH to adhere, and the competent services to control the implementation of the prescribed epidemiological measures,” announced the Press Service of the Council of Ministers of BiH.
