However, this match will be remembered after the record of Mirza Teletović, basketball player of the BiH national team, who became the best three-pointer striker in the history of the NBA league, from the bench, scoring his 165th three-pointer in the season.

In the match against Atlanta, in little over 27 minutes he played Teletović scored 12 points, with seven rebounds and three assists. Of those points, Teletović scored three three-pointers from eight attempts, which was enough to break the 21-year-old record.

“Breaking a 21-year-old record is not unimportant, so I have to be proud of that. However, what is more important to me is the Bosnia and Herzegovina stands before my name. I am happy for giving this record to my country,” Teletović said.

So far in the season, Teletović scored 165 three-pointers, which is the new record in the NBA league for one player from the bench. The previous record was set by Chuck Person playing for San Antonio, when he scored 164 three-pointers in the season 1994/1995, also as a substitute player.
